New Bitcoin is seeking a Head of Token Strategy & Fundraising to lead all token-based capital formation activities, including private token rounds, strategic allocations, and future public distribution events. This executive role is responsible for aligning token economics, investor strategy, and long-term ecosystem sustainability while maintaining a high standard of credibility with investors, partners, and regulatory stakeholders.

Role Overview

The Head of Token Strategy & Fundraising is responsible for designing and executing the company’s token-based capital formation strategy. This role owns the fundraising roadmap across private token rounds, strategic allocations, and public or semi-public token distribution events (e.g., ICO/TGE), while working closely with legal, product, and executive leadership to ensure regulatory awareness, market credibility, and long-term ecosystem health. This is a senior, hands-on role combining capital markets thinking, token economics, investor relations, and Web3 go-to-market execution.


Key Responsibilities – Token Strategy & Capital Formation

  • Design and own the token fundraising strategy, including sequencing (private rounds, strategic sales, community distribution, public sale, node sales, etc.)

  • Define allocation frameworks, pricing logic, vesting, lockups, and distribution mechanics in coordination with legal and tokenomics advisors

  • Ensure token fundraising aligns with long-term network incentives, decentralization goals, and product adoption


Key Responsibilities – Fundraising Execution

  • Lead execution of token sales and fundraising initiatives, including ICO/TGE planning and investor allocations

  • Build and manage relationships with strategic investors, angels, crypto funds, syndicates, launch platforms, and exchanges

  • Coordinate investor onboarding, diligence materials, data rooms, and closing processes


Key Responsibilities – Investor Relations

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for token investors before, during, and after fundraising rounds

  • Develop clear, transparent messaging around token utility, ecosystem economics, and roadmap milestones

  • Maintain ongoing investor communications and updates


Key Responsibilities – Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner with legal & compliance, product & engineering, and marketing & community teams

  • Advise executive leadership on market conditions, investor sentiment, and capital strategy


Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in fundraising, capital markets, venture, crypto, or digital assets- Proven experience raising capital in crypto or Web3 environments

  • Strong understanding of token economics and investor expectations

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Comfortable operating in fast-moving, early-stage environments


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior involvement in ICO, TGE, or large-scale token distribution

  • Experience working with crypto funds, launchpads, or exchanges

  • Familiarity with U.S. and global crypto regulatory frameworks

  • Background in venture capital, investment banking, or startup leadership
